Does Buzzy really work?

Can Buzzy be reused, and do I need to charge it?
Yes, Buzzy is reusable and can be used again and again. It is not rechargeable—all Buzzy units use two AAA batteries. When the batteries run out, simply unscrew the back of the unit and replace them with two new AAA batteries. Buzzy Personal is intended for individual or family use, while Buzzy Healthcare models are specifically designed for multi-patient clinical environments. Use of Buzzy Personal in a multi-patient healthcare setting voids the applicable warranty.

When should I NOT use Buzzy?
Do not use Buzzy in the presence of unexplained calf pain; consult a physician. Do not use over swollen or inflamed areas or skin eruptions, and do not place directly on a thermal burn. Do not use ice that has been cooled with dry ice or in a deep freezer. Do not use the ice pack if you have an underlying sensitivity to ice or cold, such as Sickle Cell Disease, Raynaud's Disease, or diabetic neuropathy.
