Free of Charge replacement band
Check out as usual and we will send you a replacement band in the mail, do not worry it is quite easy to accomplish ;)
The attached video shows how to install the replacement band. Then, you snip/cut the remaining band to the top of the arrow/pyramid to allow room for the motor.
In the meantime, you still have a functioning device, the band is not essential to the functionality of the Buzzy. The wings can be pressed in place with the hand or even dropped in an infection control bag (which I'll send you a sample of).
Here are a couple of tips so that the replacement does not snap:
1) The Buzzy ice wing should be attached horizontally, not vertically - we gather that, for dialysis especially, the "hole" on the ice wing is not in an ideal position and we see photos of the wing being attached vertically as a workaround - that puts stress on the band that may cause it to snap
2) The Buzzy ice wing should be folded and frozen along the centerline - that channel allows proper fitting and reduces stress on the band - see "how to prepare wings" video here
