Healthcare vs. Personal

Choose a Healthcare model for use with multiple patients. Buzzy Mini Healthcare and XL Healthcare include four universal healthcare ice wings, and the units and wings are designed for disinfection between patients. Follow the cleaning instructions supplied with your device.

Buzzy Personal is intended for single-patient use and includes two single-patient ice wings and one hands-free strap. Healthcare models have a 12-month warranty; Personal has a 6-month warranty. Personal units carry no warranty in healthcare or clinical settings.

Buzzy Pro is designed for clinical procedures and includes five larger rectangular single-patient ice packs and two latex-free TPE starter straps. Its ice packs are assigned to one patient, rather than shared between patients.

XL vs. Mini

Buzzy Personal and Buzzy XL Healthcare are slightly larger than Mini Healthcare. The main differences are their vibration controls and automatic shutoff.

• Personal and XL Healthcare have a manual toggle switch and continuous vibration, making them convenient for longer procedures and multiple injections.
• Mini Healthcare offers constant or pulsed vibration with a 3-minute automatic shutoff. Its smaller size can be easier for small children to hold.

Ice wings attach differently: slide XL wings horizontally through the elastic band on the back. For Mini Healthcare, slide the wings vertically onto the hook. See how to use Buzzy for placement and instructions.

Striped, Plain Black, LadyBuzz and RoyalBuzz

Within the same model, the design differences are cosmetic: function and operating instructions are the same. Available styles vary by model; see the product listing for current options. Plain Black or LadyBuzz may be more comfortable choices for someone who is afraid of bees.

What about Buzzy Pro?

Buzzy Pro is an adult-oriented option for dialysis, blood donation and other longer venipuncture procedures. It provides continuous high-frequency vibration with larger rectangular ice packs that are reversible for a preference of more or less cold.

Choose Pro when you want this design and single-patient ice packs for clinical procedures. Choose Mini Healthcare or XL Healthcare when you need universal healthcare ice wings designed for disinfection between patients.
